The Volvo FM440HP 8 x 4 rigid truck: as a diesel fuel and water tanker with fire fighting capacity.

Tray Body

• 7 mtr long steel frame tray body with additional bracing where required for mounting of tanks
• 5mm Aluminium tread plate deck
• 4 x storage lockers under rear of tray on either side: Approx: 605 x 600 x 1000
• 1 x storage lockers on tray deck: Approx: 1200 x 350 x 400
• White powder coated frame

Diesel Fuel Delivery System

• 3000 litre Rapid Plas ST3000SK diesel grade poly tank
• Galvanised steel base frame
• Rapid Plas Baffle Balls in tank
• 6 hp Robin Diesel Electric Start (fire fighter) pump fitted with complete viton seal kit suitable for pumping diesel fuel
• Fuel Filter
• Quik spray standard Aluminium powered hose fitted with 20m x 25mm (1”) fuel oil hose.
• Alemite 120 Ipm automatic shut off fuel nozzle
• Security mesh cage over pump engine

Water Delivery System

• 8000 ltr Rapid Plas ST800FS Poly water tank
• Galvanised steel base frame
• Rapid Plas baffle balls in tank
• 9 hp Robin Petrol powered single impeller fire fighting pump with electric start: (50mm inlet x 38mm outlet)
• Southern Cross KDC primer pump
• Quik spray standard Aluminium powdered hose reel
• 50 m x 19mm (3/4”) rubber fire fighting hose
• Angus SL 101 fog jet nozzle
• Aluminium nozzle holder
• 2 x 30m long x 40mm Vinyl Layflat hoses fitted with camlock fittings
• Security mesh over pump engine
• 4 x 3m x 50mm suction hose with camlock fittings
• Stainless steel strainer with bronze check value and camlock fittings
