Fire fighting foams are wetting agents, increasing the time that objects will stay damp and simultaneously decreasing the amount of water required to damp them.

The FP100 can deliver up to 3% foam into the water stream, whilst the FP135 can deliver 6% and comes fitted with an electroluminescent back panel for improved visibility.

These units can put you onto the front foot when fighting fires on your property.

The Aquafoam ® Model FP135 Fire Fighting Foam Proportioning system is a venturi based Round-the-Pump (RTP) induction control system for metering foam concentrate into the pump. Designed to suit both A and B class foams the FP135 can induct the concentrate at variable rates up to 6%.

Under heavy smoke and night conditions is it difficult to see most proportioning system settings, let alone read them. Innovative backlighting is achieved using solid state electro luminescent technology which has no bulbs and does not emit any infra-red or ultra violet light. This technology is military in origin and harnesses the human eye's sensitivity to specific light wavelengths. The backlight appears to actually penetrate smoke and has brilliant clarity even from a distance.

Manifold/ Foam proportioning system

For versatility, the system is designed to be mounted into a flat panel but can be mounted on a bracket. The resilient rubber housing will absorb shocks and provides the unit with a durable, long lasting, easy to clean housing.

Round-the-Pump systems are ideal for consistent, low volume application of foam to your water. The system operates at equilibrium by using fluid at the outflow of the pump to drive the venturi system within the proportioner. This fluid is dosed with foam and after a few seconds equilibrium is attained from the pump. This equilibrium is easily adjustable under operating conditions, by using the single dial on the front of the FP135.

For lighter duty the FP100 delivers foaming functionality without the bulk. The FP100 does not have the backlight system for simplicity of connection. Rated at up to 3% foam delivery this compact and robust unit is ideal for smaller fire fighting appliances and comes standard on the AAA Slip On unit and the AAA Fire Fighter Trailers.

The Aquafoam ® Model FP135 is supplied with a 3/8 inch BSP brass in line filter, 2 x 3/8 inch BSP M & F ball valves and all other plumbing required to connect it to most fire fighting pumps.
