AAA Engineering Technologies Pty Ltd began operations in December 1993 with husband and wife team Barry and Christine Sharp. Initially building specialised laser trailers for the agricultural industry they quickly developed a niche market manufacturing a range of diesel fuel tanker trailers and other special purpose trailers (including fire fighting trailers) that other manufacturers were not producing.

In January 2012 AAA Engineering Technologies was purchased by Quik Corp a manufacturer of premium agricultural spraying systems servicing farmers, contractors and the government sector. With the Quik Corp Fire division also emerging as a force in the manufacture of fire appliances to the emergency services, mining and government sectors, the synergies between the two companies was exceptional facilitating the merge. The combined forces of two innovative manufacturers means we will be able to offer our customers an even more diverse range of premium fire fighting solutions.

QCFE is one of the major non-government employers in the township of Crows Nest, Queensland.

QCFE is now a leader in manufacturing specialist rural fire fighting equipment and accessories and is one of the few dedicated purpose built rural fire fighting equipment manufacturers in Australia.

Using Solid Works parametric modelling software QCFE can design fire fighting bodies to suit any vehicle large or small. QCFE’s well equipped factory has the latest computer controlled systems for computer 3D modelling and prototyping and plasma cutting all types of metal, as well as a wide range of equipment for TIG and MIG welding, pressing, and machining.
