AAA Engineering Technologies designs and manufactures specialist rural fire fighting equipment and trailers for the Queensland Rural Fire Service, Queensland Emergency Services, Australian Department of Defence, New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service, Queensland National Parks, Forestry Plantations Queensland and the New Zealand Rural Fire Authority to name a few valued and satisfied clients. AAA supplies to a number of major energy and mineral companies throughout Australia, New Zealand, Nauru, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines.

AAA Engineering Technologies Pty Ltd began operations in December 1993 with husband and wife team Barry and Christine Sharp. Initially building specialised laser trailers for the agricultural industry they quickly developed a niche market manufacturing a range of diesel fuel tanker trailers and other special purpose trailers (including fire fighting trailers) that other manufacturers were not producing.

AAA is one of the major non-government employers in the township of Crows Nest, Queensland.

AAA is now a leader in manufacturing specialist rural fire fighting equipment and accessories and is one of the few dedicated purpose built rural fire fighting equipment manufacturers in Australia.

Many staff members of AAA are local Rural Fire Brigade members and their first hand experience of the practical requirements for the fire fighting equipment they use ensures that the company’s products meet and exceed the quality standards which are of vital importance in life threatening situations.

Using Solid Works parametric modelling software AAA can design fire fighting bodies to suit any vehicle large or small. AAA’s well equipped factory has the latest computer controlled systems for computer 3D modelling and prototyping and plasma cutting all types of metal, as well as a wide range of equipment for TIG and MIG welding, pressing, and machining.
